Return Goods Authorization
No returns will be accepted without a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number and must adhere to the return policies below.
To obtain a return authorization number, contact Commonwell at Orders@commonwellwater.com You must include the following information with your request:
- Include your name, address, and telephone number
- Specify if product is new and unused

Include reason for the return
- Customer accommodation (requires 25% restocking fee)
- Order entry or shipping error

Warranty/Claim
- Provide details of product failure, installation date, serial number
- Repair & return to customer

Specify if the returned product(s) is contaminated with a hazardous substance
- If yes, is it biological or chemical and specify contaminant
- Are there required disposal methods

For each product returned, please include the following information:
- Part Number, Model/Description, Serial Number, Invoice/Order Number, Purchase Order Number, Quantity
Policies:
1. Commonwell must be notified of any discrepancies in the product shipment within 10 business days of receipt of shipment. No credit will be issued without this prior notification.
2. Made-To-Order products may not be returned once shipped. No custom or specialty products are allowable for return.
3. No product may be returned without Commonwell's prior approval and RGA #.
4. If product has been specified as “new and unused”, the non-defective products should be returned in unopened packaging may be subject to a restocking charge.
5. Product must be returned within 90 days of the invoice date.
6. Each return must be accompanied by proof of purchase (order number, purchase order number, invoice number).
7. In the case of defective products, please provide pictures of the broken item/area of damage.
8. Credit for defective products will be pending approval from the manufacturer. Approval from the manufacturer may take up to 10 days once image(s) of product is received.
9. Please note install errors, dropped units, and cross threading are not considered manufacturer defects and will not be approved by the manufacturer for return.
